DESCRIPTION:Empowering the next generation through education. \nLaunching in April 2027 and held annually each April\, the Youth Scholarship Program recognizes outstanding students who excel academically\, lead with purpose\, and serve their communities. Recipients are honored each April and again at the Annual Banquet in November — a powerful reminder that today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. \nMore Information – Youth Scholarship Program \nEmpowering the Next Generation of Leaders \nThe Girls and Boys of Destiny Foundation Youth Scholarship Program honors outstanding high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence\, leadership\, and a heart for service. \nEligibility Requirements: \n• Must be a first-generation college student (neither parent has earned a college degree). \n• Must be a high school senior graduating in Spring 2026. \n• Must plan to pursue a college degree at an accredited institution. \n• Must come from a single-parent household (mother\, father\, or grandparent raising the student). \n• Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. \n• Must submit a completed application by February 28\, 2026. \nSelection Criteria: \nRecipients will be chosen based on academic performance\, community service\, leadership qualities\, and their personal story of resilience and purpose. \nRecipients will be honored each April during our Annual Youth Scholarship Recognition Ceremony and again at our Annual Banquet in November. \n👉 Apply Now

DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Fashion Extravaganza is the signature annual fundraising event presented through a coordinated partnership between the Girls and Boys of Destiny Foundation and the Garrett Legacy Foundation. Together\, these organizations unite their missions to inspire confidence\, purpose\, and self-pride in children while creating meaningful community impact. \nThis event is more than a fashion show—it is a transformative experience designed to empower girls and boys to walk boldly in who they are\, both on and off the runway. Through mentorship\, preparation\, and encouragement\, participants develop confidence\, leadership skills\, and a strong sense of self-worth. \nFamilies\, supporters\, and community partners come together to celebrate the children while supporting shared initiatives that uplift and serve the community. Proceeds from the Fashion Extravaganza help fund programs and outreach efforts that support deserving mothers and fathers throughout the year\, including special recognitions on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. \n✨ What to Expect: \n\nA high-energy runway showcase featuring youth models\nAn uplifting\, family-friendly atmosphere\nCommunity collaboration and charitable impact\nOpportunities to support and partner with two mission-driven foundations\n\nThe 2026 Fashion Extravaganza is a celebration of confidence\, compassion\, and community—guiding the path to a brighter future\, one child at a time. \nNOTE: EVERYONE AGE 4 and older (age 3 and under no charge but must sit in lap of ticket holder) ATTENDING THE EVENT MUST HAVE A TICKET.
